Gourmet Tote, the brand new hip insulated food carrier was chosen to be a featured give away product in Pepsis 2004 NFL incentive program for bottlers and distributors. Gourmet Tote was selected after a Pepsi representative contacted the company searching for unique tailgating items that could be used for home entertaining.

Gourmet Tote owner Leianne Messina-Brown said the company is ecstatic about the Pepsi contract. They gave us a pretty tight deadline (a few days) to turn around a proposal. When we heard back within a few days that the Gourmet Tote had been chosen, we were floored!
Messina-Brown said the Gourmet Tote was designed for corporate customization programs such as Pepsi's. The tote allows you to carry all of your food items, appetizers, casseroles, etc. to dinner parties, potlucks, supper clubs and holiday gatherings but the Gourmet Tote was refined and test marketed at University of Oregon Tailgate parties. Tailgate parties are so upscale now", says Messina-Brown. My husband and I refined all of the features of the Gourmet Tote at the Oregon Duck games. We were able to bring mushroom bruschetta, gourmet cheeses and fancy desserts. We couldnt find an appropriate insulated carrier where you could bring more than one item without stacking things on top of eachother-the Gourmet Tote features a removable shelving unit. We started searching for a carrier and when we couldn't find one,that's when Gourmet Tote was born.
